Purely by accident I found myself watching the NBC show Chuck last season. It's about a guy who works at a Best Buy like place who accidentally gets a top secret government database downloaded into his brain. Since the data is useful, and secret, two spies are assigned to watch him and, of course, he gets into all sorts of trouble helping them out. Yvonne Strahovski, who I never heard of before this show, plays one of the spies, Sarah. Her cover is to act like his girlfriend. I actually like the show. It's pretty witty, the dialog is good, and as far fetched as the plot is, the characters still seem real somehow. The ensemble cast is pretty talented on the whole and I hope the show stays on for a while.
That being said, I totally fell for Yvonne while watching this show. She has the imperfect teeth thing going on that I just love. She's very pretty but somehow seems like a girl next door. Plus, she kicks ass and anyone who recalls my passion for Buffy the Vampire Slayer knows I love hot women who kick ass. Yvonne also looks really cute in the pigtails she wears in her disguise as a counter girl in the hot dog restaurant next to the fake Best Buy. I can't quite put a finger on why I like her so much. Her physical appearance is definitely my type but I think she really plays her character with nuance. She tough but vulnerable. Wounded but really sweet. The confidence of her character is still wrapped up in a really feminine package. I guess I'd like to think Yvonne has some of those same qualities and, to me, it's really attractive.

Ok... On this one, we agree.
Yum.
Hence the reason I can't stop watching the show. She's really cute and, again, looks like someone you could actually meet at a mall. Well, maybe not a mall in Cleveland...
You know, I’m not so sure the plot is all that far-fetched. When was the last time you shopped at Best Buy? I’ve often wondered why that place sucks. I could dangle myself from the lighting fixtures or be waving my checkbook wildly with pen in hand and still not get even a sideways glance from those degenerate sales folks. Maybe I should try pigtails too. Any grown woman who can pull off pigtails without coming off as a Daisy Dukes is ok by me. It’s my daughter’s favorite way to wear her hair and it goes perfectly with her spunky, take-no-prisoners, I’m-cuter-AND-smarter-than-you-are-but-you-can’t-help-but-love-me-anyway personality.
See, that's the attitude Yvonne has on the show. And, as Jim says, she's yummy.
Exactly, I get that. An irresistible force to be reckoned with. The lead singers in The Mother Truckers and Dixie Bee-Liners sport 'tails, too, along with a fair number of my other favorite womenfolk. If you're going to have pigtails, then dammit, make sure you have the proper attitude to go with.
