Somehow I Always Knew

I read a great story today on the Fox News website. Basically, a group of French researchers have mapped the genome of the Pinot Noir grape and found that it is more genetically complex than a human being. I'm actually laughing as I write this. Score another one for God. Somehow the most powerful and intelligent being in the universe couldn't figure out how to make a grape with less genetic complexity than a being made in His own image.

I think this is just hilarious. Of all the things to find that contain more elemental DNA than us. A grape.

Boy, somehow that really puts things in perspective. And not to harp on this but I just don't understand how people can read about research like this and still think that there was some grand mastermind who designed it all. Can we just please give up this tired myth and get on with solving the world's problems? For anyone who wants to read the brief article, here's the link: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,298508,00.html

And of all places to see it...FOX? Holy crap, how did the news police let that one sneak past 'em?!

Very cool, I'm gonna send it to Son of Mando.

Frankly, Fox news is my favorite news website. I don't always agree with their politics but I like the layout of their website the best. CNN, MSNBC, etc., all suck. They're just not laid out very nice. So I find myself on Fox every day. I just thought this story was great.
