I have to say that Alexander Pichushkin (pictured) is one of the more scary looking individuals I've ever seen. For those of you who don't know, this is the Russian serial killer who was arrested and confessed to 63 murders. He kept track of his victims on a chessboard with the goal of killing 64, one for each square. He started off killing slowly but then accelerated at a frenetic pace. The news article from which I took this photo is linked below and provides a few statements by him about how much he loves killing people.
I have read a lot of books about murderers and serial killers. My father has always read true crime books and I started reading them as a teen. I've lost track of how many of these books I've read. Some were the easy read, pulp crime novels written by people like Aphrodite Jones. Others were books on forensics and criminal behavior by people like Michael Baden and John Douglas. Of all criminal behavior, I find serial killing the most fascinating. I think this is because it is at once hard for me to grasp and at the same time completely understandable. I don't have any insights about this and I'm not sure it means anything. I just know that Alexander Pichushkin is one scary motherf***er.

I thought that you, of all people, would appreciate this given your current endeavors.
Hey, I think maybe he winked at me on Match.com just a couple weeks ago! Whew, good thing I didn't respond!
